Product for India is an effort to ignite young minds to think differently by giving them a platform to showcase their innovation and creativity. The contest is open for all Indian engineering students across the country
Participant must follow the below steps to apply for the contest :
- Resister on our Innovation Hub Portal https://auth.innovationhubin/
- Click on the “Login to Participate” and enter your registration credentials
- Fill the Submission Form (You can apply for all 3 contests at once-Select accordingly)
- Entry Fee-
- You will have to enter details as required in the Registration Page and follow further instructions on the portal.
- Upon successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email
- For any additional information, you will be contacted via email.
Note: All members of the team must have an account on our portal to receive emails from organizers.
- Participant must be a Teacher from recognized Engineering/Management College.
- All the participants must be Indian Nationals above 18 years of age.
- The participant can participate individually or as a team of a maximum of 5 members.

- Milestone 1/Phase1/Stage1- Registration (Date)
All the participating teams are expected to register, form teams and submit all the necessary details on the Registration portal. Ensure to submit all the details. Teams completing the registration process will enter the next Milestone.
- Milestone 2- Participation/First Validation of Idea (Date)
Participants/teams are expected to submit a Detailed Business and Technical Proposal in word format.
The submissions will be reviewed by a panel of domain experts comprising representatives from the government, industry, academia and investors. for a combination of criterion like Quality of Proposal, Innovation, Viability and Implementation of the Idea.
This will be an elimination round. Only qualified teams will move to the next Milestone. Names of the qualified teams will be disclosed on our portal on (Date)
- Milestone 3 (Date)- Second Validation of Progress/ Evaluation
The shortlisted teams/participants are expected to work on their prototype or proof of concept development. In this stage, teams/participants will submit the following:
- Presentation of the Complete Business Plan
- Video Demonstration of the Prototype (Physical or Digital)
This round will be an elimination round and Top 10 teams with highest scores will qualify to the Final Round.
- Milestone 4- Grand Finale (Date)
The Top 10 selected teams get a chance to pitch their prototype/solution to the expert jury via a live session followed by a Q &A round.
After reviewing each team, judges will shortlist the top 3 winning teams.
The winning teams/participants will be announced at the end of the event.
NOTE: The teams/participants have to update their progress on our portal right from the 1st to the 3rd milestone regularly to earn brownie points from the Jury.
